Today we’re sharing Heather & Grahame’s beautiful vintage inspired wedding at Crow Hill in Yorkshire. Having photographed there over 4 years ago, we were super excited to be back. The day was fun filled and blessed with glorious sunshine, meaning we could use the pretty blossoms in the venues gardens as a backdrop. We’re over the moon with Heather & Graham’s review of our wedding photography. Which you can read at the end of the blog post!

The Stationary…
Having talented friends really pays of when it comes to weddings. One of their bridesmaids, Amanda is a graphic designer and put together all of their invitations and even surpised them with this beautiful package. Inside a bespoke keepsake box, lots of lovely wedding day trinkets for them to cherish.
Heather is a talented professional make up artist so was able to do her own bridal make up on the day which matched her vintage inspired hair perfectly. She looked stunning in a knee length, 50’s inspired wedding dress from Ocean Bridal in Hove.
The bridesmaids dresses came from ASOS. Different styles in the same gorgeous grey really suited each of them. Paired with the amazing wedding floristry by West Yorkshire based Roxanne at Lily Blossom.
One of my favourite details of the whole day was that Heather, being a super creative bride, designed a wedding day newspaper. Inside featured the story of how they got together, photos of important people on the day, as well as their order of service and fun puzzles. The newspaper was delivered to their guests the morning of the wedding so they could read it over breakfast, amazing!
My favourite frame
The image below is hands down one of my favourites from the entire wedding. I was crouched down between the tables, my usual pre speech position. There I caught Graham admiring his new wife, with so much love. These little moments are what weddings are all about and I’m so glad I managed to capture it.

The First Dance
Carrying on from their vintage inspired style, Heather & Graham surprised their guests and family by performing a rockabilly dance. Not being professional dancers at all, they blew everyone away and totally nailed it!

Our engagement shoot with Amber was a joy. Amber & Tom turned up promptly on the wedding day. And throughout the day snapped away like silent photography ninjas! When they needed to be vocal and get people together they were but the rest of the time you would hardly notice they were there. Everyone loved them and I mean EVERYONE. To be honest they were like guests at our wedding more than suppliers, just blending in and getting the job done while making it look effortless.
When we received our pictures we were so chuffed and very emotional surprisingly! They had captured the full story of our day from beginning to end, not just the standard group shots and detail pics but also moments in time that are absolutely priceless. Their photography standard is exceptional and refreshingly modern.
Amber is an absolute gem, such a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Her positivity and excitement was infectious which I appreciated so much when bogged down in wed-min and along with her partner Tom are a winning wedding combination. Such a special, lovely, talented couple. Book them! You won’t regret it!”
