Hester & James’ William Morris Inspired Wedding at Owlpen Manor

The Cotswolds is home to so many beautiful wedding venues. After moving to the area three years ago, it was so exciting to discover our new village had it’s very own. And even more exciting to be booked to photograph Hester & James’ autumn wedding at Owlpen Manor. It doesn’t get much more local than that!
Hester & James’ wedding was inspired by William Morris, the perfect style for the season with his signature autumnal colour palette. Their decorations also hinted to some favourite and personal literature. So much effort had gone in to their DIY for the day. Hester’s amazing mum created the flowers. And another super talented family member baked their cakes.

You might be able to tell, but this day was another lovely little four hours coverage. Perfect for more intimate weddings or for couples on a budget that still want to book an experienced wedding photographer.

It goes without saying, the phrase ‘an English Rose’ describes Hester’s bridal style perfectly. Having had a super relaxed morning she styled her own hair and make up. Looking so natural and elegant she wouldn’t have looked out of place in a classic novel.
