A beautiful winter wedding in Devon
Once upon a time, I was a little fearful of a winter wedding. Unpredictable weather and having such little daylight hours definitely calls for a different approach to summer celebrations. But winter is fast becoming one of my favourite seasons to capture a River Cottage HQ wedding!
Kit & Jez’s winter wedding was my first back at River Cottage since lockdown. So it certainly felt like quite a while since I’d been there. And boy was it great to be back!
Wrapping up warm around an open fire in the Yurt. Delicious food and drinks and fresh coffee to perk everyone up before the party. What’s not to love. Being a working farm, River Cottage looks completely different depending on the time of year. So it’s always a great venue to get the creative juices flowing when it comes to capturing unique wedding photos that tell the story of the day.
I am over the moon to be one of the wedding photographers recommended by River Cottage. And have lots of lovely weddings to photograph their this year.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this day. Kit & Jez’s guest and family really welcomed me into the gang and even said, once it got to the party, I felt like one of the family.
It goes without saying, if you’re looking for a relaxed and creative wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch to have a chat about your plans.
