Do we need two wedding photographers?
Having two professional wedding photographers capture your day ensures not a moment or angle is missed and that your wedding photography tells a complete story of the day from both perspectives. It also means we can capture parts of the day that wouldn’t be possible as a solo shooter, whilst allowing us to work as unobtrusively as possible, so you can forget we’re there. You can see an example of one of our weddings captured with two photographers here. I would always recommend having two photographers unless your day is very small and intimate, in which case feel free to discuss your requirements with us.
How far do you travel?
No wedding is too near or far. We’re based in The Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, with so many beautiful wedding venus on our doorstep. But we’ve traveled all over the UK and to destination weddings in the mountains of Spain. Our packages include travel and accommodation anywhere in mainland UK. How long do you stay for?
Our eco friendly wedding photography packages don’t come with a set time limit. We concentrate on telling the full story of your day from getting ready until dad dancing. So we won’t be rushing off as soon as the first dance finishes.
Are you insured?
Yes! We’re fully covered with both public liability and public indemnity insurance.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes, yes and more yes! We shoot with two cameras at all times. So should something go wrong, we have another camera to jump in it’s place right away. Not that you’ll notice it has!
How much are your packages?

Do you do albums?
Floppy disks, DVD’s, USB’s with all come and go but a professional wedding album has stood the test of time and is still the best way to present your favourite images. Our albums have the highest eco credentials possible and are a bespoke design and hand made right here is West Yorkshire by a team of professional printers and book binders. Albums are available at a discounted price as a bolt on or can be ordered anytime after the big day. Request our latest brochure for more details.
Should we have a pre wedding/engagement shoot?
I always recommend a pre wedding photoshoot, they’re a great chance for us to get creative before the day as well as chance to get to know each other. Pre wedding shoots are fun, relaxed and natural and give you some beautiful photographs that make great save the dates of invitations, you can see some examples of engagement shoots on my blog.
How long until our images are ready?
We spend a lot of time editing and curating your wedding photographs. We edit each image individually, removing exit signs, fire extinguishers and the likes! We aim to get off peak weddings to you in 2-3 weeks whereas peak season weddings may take up to 4 weeks from the big day. After shooting the wedding you’ll receive an email with your expected delivery date.
How do we book you to capture our day?
Great! First thing first is to check if we’re available on your date. You can do this via the website (www.ambermariephotography.co.uk), email (email@example.com or phone 07581 412 250.
We then meet up for a coffee or have a chat on the phone to discuss your plans for the day. From there you just need to complete your booking forms and return it with your deposit of £400. The remaining balance is paid 8 weeks before your wedding day.
