Doorstep Family Portraits
After two months in lockdown, it was brilliant to be back behind the camera. Capturing some wonderfully happy Doorstep family portraits. Being able to stick to social distancing is a huge priority. And my ridiculously large zoom lens, nicknamed the birdwatcher, was just the tool for the job! Usually reserved for massive venues or espionage (just kidding!). Working with the 70-200mm lens meant I could keep plenty of distance during the shoot.
Lockdown Family Portraits
These portrait sessions are offered in and around my local town of Nailsworth. They’re short and sweet, lasting around ten minutes. And are on a ‘pay what you can’ basis. With 20% of any profits made being donated to Stroud District Kids stuff & Stroud Food Bank. Two brilliant local charities.

Family Portrait Photography
On a personal note, knowing that our little boy will grow up and likely ask about this unique and unusual time. Has given the photographs captured around the house an added weight to them. It’s wonderful to be able to capture some of those for other families too. This shoot has really lifted my spirits and Family portrait photography is something I’d love to create more of.
