A midsummer evening in The Cotswolds capturing Natural Family Portraits
Whether it is on a wedding day or as a surprise treat on a family holiday, photographing those cherished bonds we share with our loved ones is one of my favourite things to do! Today I’m sharing a few of my favourites from this recent family shoot in The Cotswolds. I’ve really missed working. And natural family portrait photography that captures memories for my couples and families feels more important now than ever.
As you might already know, midsummer weekends are usually filled with my couples wedding days. So it’s a very rare treat to have the time to spend on family portrait photography. That said, I’ve enjoyed them so much that I’d love to have more time for them in the future. Even once the wedding world is back in full swing.
Lucy’s family shoot took place during their family holiday in The Cotswolds. Which is home to some beautiful locations – with many of the grand homes and estates now turned into wedding venues, hotels and holiday homes. It’s pretty mind-boggling to imagine them ever being a family home.
