Sophie & Chris’ rustic and vintage-inspired wedding
Today I’m sharing a beauty of a summer wedding. A relaxed and rustic garden wedding in the Somerset countryside. Sophie & Chris had planned their wedding multiple times. Last year, So many weddings felt like small miracles amongst the disruption of the pandemic.
Sophie the bride, looked incredible in a wedding dress by french bridal designer, Margaux Tardits.
Whenever I’m photographing a wedding, I’m often asked if I mind people’s cameras and devices being in the photos. And I really don’t. After all, how often have we looked back through a family album with glee at the site of a Nokia 3210.
Sophie’s bridesmaids wore the most incredible green jumpsuits. Which added a sleek modern twist to the rustic and vintage inspires the style of the day.
I knew it was going to be a lovely ceremony when I met a friendly, pink-haired priest donning a pair of Doc Martins!
You’ll never find me darting off, straight after the first dance. I always stay up until an hour after the first dance so I can capture lots of the dance floor action! It’s always fun having a dance and darting through the crowds. One of the benefits of not being super tall.
