Today’s wedding is taking us back to the beautiful Devon.  Jack & Sally’s autumn wedding at River Cottage in Devon. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Devon and Dorset border. River Cottage is one of our absolute favourite wedding venues in the south west and after photographing there last year. We couldn’t wait to be back. Not only are the staff there brilliant. It’s a wedding photographers dream, with so many beautiful backdrops. And it goes without saying that the food is amazingly tasty.

The Morning started with Jack and his ushers going for a run along Lyme Regis beach. Despite storm Bryan sending huge waves crashing along the shore. We were super lucky with the weather. The rain cleared up and the wind died down just in time for the ceremony and some quick portraits. Just as we were finishing up the couples portraits the rain started again. Which meant getting cosy by the fire inside the yurt.

Sally looked amazing in her modern wedding dress by french designer Rime Arodaky. Paired with a handmade headpiece designed and created by one her bridesmaids. Who I’m convinced should be creating them as her profession! Styling her hair in an elegant braid, which worked really well for the blustery weather.
