Sun Pavilion Harrogate Wedding
Now that my busy wedding season has slowed to a calm pace, I’m finally getting around to sharing some of the beautiful weddings I’ve been a part of this year. After two postponements, Sarah & Henry were finally able to celebrate their marriage with a Humanist ceremony at The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate. This wedding combined two of my favourite things, an autumnal colour palette, that perfectly complimented the rustic cobbles of the Yorkshire landscape. Punctuated by spring blossoms.
Sarah looked incredible in a blush wedding dress designed by Willowby Watters. I always include a link to wedding suppliers at the end of my blogs. That way it’s easy to find out more about the incredibly talented people that make these wedding days possible.
And as if the warm pastel hues of the spring blooms weren’t enough, Sarah’s bridesmaids wore shades of pink and purple. Sensible shoes were a must and we took a short walk from The Swan hotel over to The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate. I love the way the wind blows the petals of the blossom trees into the air like confetti.
Possibly the most beautiful street in Yorkshire. I couldn’t resist getting a relaxed group photo of Sarah and her bridal party.
During the humanist wedding ceremony, Sarah & Henry lit a unity candle. A peaceful moment that signifies two people joining together to become one. Followed by a joyous confetti throw as the couple walked down the aisle together. Petal confetti is such an easy eco switch that still looks beautiful and colourful.
