Having lived up north when I first photographed at River Cottage, I’m so glad that I live much closer now. I’m delighted to be a Recommended supplier too and love how often I get to work here. Each and every wedding is so beautiful and unique. As the surroundings change with the seasons. And being a working farm I’m never short of breath taking locations to use for beautiful photos. Teresa & Peter’s Summer Wedding at River Cottage in Devon, is no exception.

The farm is nestled in a valley in Axminster, Devon. And river cottage sunsets have to be some of my all time favourites. The rolling hills give such a wonderful depth to portraits you can capture here.

Teresa & Peter made the most of the beautiful weather by holding their ceremony in the cottage’s lush gardens. Butterflies fill the gardens as they drift from flower to flower. And guests are treated to a ride down to the wedding in a Tractor.
Wonderfully rustic decorations and pretty meadow flowers brought the beauty of the garden into Teresa & Peter’s reception in the Barn. Beautiful Wooden decorations were a great eco friendly alternative to traditional seat name cards. And look so lovely too!

Foodie Wedding Venues
It goes without saying that all the food crafted and created at River Cottage is amazing. All their ingredients are either grown onsite or sourced from their neighbouring farms. Throughout the day you can even see a chef or two popping out to the gardens to cut some herbs or edible flowers for garnishes. It doesn’t get much fresher than that!
