And with more time at home, I wanted to share some of my favourite alternative wedding venues in The Cotswolds. It goes without saying that this post serves as a bit of a wedding photographer’s bucket list. I’m a huge fan of weddings that break away from tradition. And belive your wedding photography should be as unique as you are. So if you’re planning a wedding and are looking for creative and natural wedding photography, it would be lovely to hear from you, so get in touch to have a chat about your plans.

What’s not to love about Cripps Barn. A wonderfully stylish venue, with more layout options than you can shake your tic-tac’s at. Being a Cripps Barn wedding photographer won’t get boring any time soon. The venue has its own meadow, surrounded by trees for an outdoor ceremony. Or snuggle up around the fire in the barn. As well as the beautiful gardens, surrounding fields, and the outbuildings that surround the barn. Cotswold stone gives such a lovely warmth to images, which lends itself so well to my style of wedding photography.
Matara Center Wedding Photographer
Based just outside of Tetbury, the Matara Center is a unique wedding venue that fuses Asian and English architecture. Sharing a similar eco-friendly ethos, for every couple that marries at Matara Center, the venue plants a tree on their grounds. Their parkland is filled with over 1500 trees on behalf of their couples. What a lovely gesture!
Winkworth Farm
Set amongst 200 acres of the beautiful Cotswold countryside, Winkworth Farm is another local venue I would love to shoot at. With plenty of space for guests to roam and even more importantly, for you guys to have some peaceful moments together.
Oxleaze Barn Wedding Photographer
Oxleaze Barn is another of my absolute favourite venues in The Cotswolds. Flooded with natural light, a rare feature not many Barn venues have. Which for a natural light photographer, (hello!), is a dream come true.
STEAM - A Unique Train Station Wedding Venue
Teetering on the edge of The Cotswolds. STEAM, based in Swindon, has to be one of the most unique wedding venues in The Cotswolds. And one I am itching to shoot at! Housed in a beautifully restored railway building, that’s bursting with character.
Stone Barn
