A Summer River Cottage Garden Wedding
While it felt like the sunny summer days were far and few between this past year, the glorious sunshine came out for Bonnie & Sam’s summer River Cottage garden wedding.
And I have to say, we were treated to possibly my favourite sunset of all time! The ultimate golden hour portraits rounded off a beautiful wedding day.
Having been on River Cottage’s recommended suppliers for years now, it’s really exciting to see how the farm is growing and changing over time.
It’s impossible for any River Cottage wedding not to have a comforting and communal atmosphere. This is really brought home when you see the chefs popping out to the kitchen garden to grab the ingredients for their delicious creations.
Having been a wedding photographer for the best part of a decade, I’ve come to hone and fine-tune my timing. Whilst the photo above could easily be staged, that’s a much less enjoyable experience for any couple. After having captured any group or couples portraits, instead of putting away my camera, I’m poised ready to capture what happens when people think we’re done with the photos. And these are always my favourites.
